Maximise your outdoor space with walk on rooflights
The EOS97 walk-on rooflight is engineered to sit flush within the surrounding finished surface — whether paved terrace, hardwood deck or resin-bound gravel. With just 3mm of visible frame at the perimeter, the unit integrates cleanly into any landscape or architectural detail.
The system is available in single-pane configurations up to 4,000mm and as linked modular units for larger openings. Both residential foot traffic (2,500N/m² uniform load) and commercial access specifications are available.
Maximising daylighting to the space below
Walk-on rooflights are a primary daylighting solution for below-ground spaces, such as basement living areas where conventional windows are not possible, as well as flat roofs designed for use as habitable spaces.
The EOS97 system delivers maximum aperture within a minimal frame footprint, with glass options including anti-slip and solar control to manage heat gain.
Certified Thermal Performance
The EOS97 walk-on rooflight achieves independently certified U-values of 1.00 W/m²K (double-glazed) and 0.73 W/m²K (triple-glazed) — meeting and exceeding the requirements of Approved Document L. The 97mm insulated upstand is integral to the system, contributing to the certified whole-unit thermal performance.

Anti-Slip Specification
Nine anti-slip surface finishes are available for the EOS97 walk-on rooflight — from sandblasted etching to fritted dot patterns — allowing the installer to select a finish appropriate to the level of foot traffic, surface material and aesthetic requirement. All finishes are applied during manufacture and are permanent; they do not require on-site treatment.
Glass Build-Up and Structural Performance
The EOS97 walk-on rooflight glass build-up consists of a 33mm toughened laminated outer pane and a toughened inner pane (6/8/10mm depending on specification). The unit withstands a uniform load of 2,500N/m² and a concentrated load of 2,000N — suitable for standard residential foot traffic.
For commercial installations subject to higher traffic volumes, an enhanced commercial specification is available.
