High Firs Penthouses is a unique new development of four luxury duplex penthouses, seamlessly blending modern sophistication with the leafy maturity of Gills Hill and Radlett Village. Located just a few minutes’ walk from the High Street, the station, and only 15 miles from the City of London and London’s West End, these homes offer an exceptional balance of urban convenience and tranquil seclusion. Built by Griggs Homes, the development is set atop a refurbished apartment building featuring new lifts, underground parking for two cars, ample visitor parking, and beautifully landscaped mature grounds spanning approximately two acres. Each penthouse is uniquely designed with bespoke interiors to cater to the most discerning of purchasers.

During the planning stages, Griggs Homes sought a rooflight solution that would enhance the luxurious feel of the penthouses while delivering superior performance. The requirements included maximizing natural light in the living areas and ensuring efficient thermal performance without compromising on safety or aesthetics. With these challenges in mind, the need for high-end walk-on rooflights became clear. After thorough consultation and site surveys, EOS was approached to supply a bespoke solution that could meet the development’s exacting standards while seamlessly integrating into the modern design of the penthouses.

EOS delivered an integrated rooflight solution, supplying three walk-on rooflights measuring 3.3m by 1.5m and one AOV unit providing 1.5m² of airflow. The walk-on rooflights were designed to provide expansive natural light and robust, walkable access to the roof terraces, ensuring that the outdoor spaces remained fully usable while enhancing the interiors with a luminous, modern ambience. The AOV unit further contributed to maintaining an ideal indoor environment by delivering controlled ventilation. Throughout the project, EOS’s expertise and precise installation methods ensured that each unit was perfectly aligned and seamlessly integrated into the building’s overall design. This collaboration not only met the technical specifications but also elevated the aesthetic appeal of the High Firs Penthouses, creating a bright, energy-efficient, and sophisticated living space.
