The 'EOS97' is our premium flat rooflight incorporating market leading glass specifications and exceptional U Values. This Eco-friendly range is available as 'lid only' or with our insulated upstand.
We currently offer 6 off-the-shelf sizes but can manufacture to almost any size. Lead times are 7-10 days for standard sizes and 3-5 weeks on all made to measure products.

Simple Installation
The EOS97 has been designed with simple installation in mind. Each unit is supplied pre-glazed and can be purchased with our insulated upstand. Due to the high specification of the glass considerations must be made on how to safely lift your rooflight, however once in place it’s as simple as putting a lid on a box !!!

How do the Sizes Work?
At EOS, we take our measurements from the internal structural opening size (hole in the roof). The actual rooflight will be 248mm larger. If you are supplying your own upstand this should be 90mm-100mm wide - learn more about rooflight sizes.

Our fixed roof lights are supplied with double glazed super low ’e’ coated units with argon filled cavities.

Safety Standards and Testing
Your safety is paramount to us at EOS, and this is why we recommend the laminate glass package. The upgraded specification includes an 6mm Heat Soak Tested toughened outer pane and 8.8mm laminate inner unit. Learn more about our standard toughened and safety laminate glass packages.
Glass Options for Standard Rooflights
Standard Toughened Glass Package
This package features a 32mm double-glazed unit with a 6mm toughened outer pane, a 20mm argon-filled cavity, and a 6mm toughened inner pane. Engineered for exceptional strength through the glass toughening process, this is the most cost-effective solution for your project.
Safety Laminated Glass Package
Upgrade to a 34.8mm double-glazed unit featuring a 6mm heat-soaked toughened outer pane with Low E, a 20mm argon-filled cavity and an 8.8mm clear laminated inner pane.
The outer unit is upgraded to heat-soaking tested, where the glass is heated to high temperatures for an extended period. This rigorous process forces any impurities, such as nickel sulfide inclusions, to cause breakages during testing. By doing so, only glass units free from these imperfections remain, ensuring a higher level of reliability and reducing the risk of spontaneous breakages in the finished product.
The inner pane is laminated offering enhanced safety and security. Laminated glass is constructed of two plies of glass which are bonded together with interlayers to form a permanent bond. The interlayers work to support and hold the glass to create a strong, uniformed layer even when broken.
Black Banding
Add a sleek contemporary look with a black vinyl paint border applied before glazing. This feature creates a seamless finish when viewed from above, ensuring a clean and modern look from every angle.
Upstand Options
We offer two options to suit your installation needs:
Rooflight Only - Upstand by Others
Our rooflights are designed to sit on upstands 100mm–90mm wide (provided by others). It is your responsibility to ensure the upstand complies with building regulations.
Fully Insulated 150mm Flat Upstand
Upgrade to a hassle-free, thermally superior solution that's guaranteed to pass building regulations, choose our in-house fully insulated upstand.
It features:
- Quick and easy install provided in kit form or per-fabricated.
- Super thermal performance A foam core and OSB outer achieves a U value of 0.43 W/m2.
- Triple Gasket Sealing for peak air tightness.
- Inner Plaster Reveal for a clean, professional interior finish.

Sizes with EOS Insulated Upstand
Simply create the internal structural size to the EOS Order Size and let our rooflight do the rest. Our insulated upstand sits directly on top of your roof deck and the lid element is placed on top.
Sizes with Upstand BY OTHERS
When constructing your own upstand, it must be 90mm–100mm wide and have a minimum 5-degree pitch for effective water drainage. Be sure the internal opening corresponds to the EOS Order Size for seamless installation.
