How do the Sizes Work?

150mm upstand for lantern rooflights sizes

Measurements are taken from the outside edge of your kerb / upstand. The structural opening (hole in the roof) measurement would be 200m smaller.

Glass Specification

Our lanterns are supplied with double glazed super low ’e’ coated units with argon filled cavities.

Our standard glass specification is:

28mm high performance double glazed unit.
4mm toughened outer pane with solar control
20mm argon filled cavity
4mm toughened inner pane with solar control and self cleaning upgrade
Free Upgrade we include both solar control and self cleaning glass as standard.

Simple Installation

This product is supplied flat packed ready for quick and easy installation on site.

The clever design of our lantern frame means they can be installed in under an hour. While no specialist glazing skills are required some basic construction expertise is recommended.

We offer two options to suit your installation needs:

Rooflight Only - Upstand by Others
Our rooflights are designed to sit on upstands 100mm–75mm wide (provided by others). It is your responsibility to ensure the upstand complies with building regulations.

Opt for a hassle-free, thermally efficient solution designed to meet building regulations with ease. Our fully insulated 150mm upstand offers:

Simple Installation: Available in kit form or pre-fabricated for a straightforward setup.
Outstanding Thermal Efficiency: A high-performance foam core with an OSB outer achieves a U-value of 0.43 W/m²K.
Double Gasket Sealing: Ensures superior airtightness and weatherproofing.

Upgrade to our insulated upstand for a professional finish and enhanced energy performance, making installation quicker and stress-free.

EOS rooflight 150mm upstand with triple gadget and 5 degree pitch — **EOS97 150mm Upstand Cross Section**

Available in-store at 150mm and 300mm height, If you require a 300mm flat upstand option, please contact our team for assistance.

Sizes with EOS Insulated Upstand

Our insulated upstand is 100mm wide. To ensure a perfect fit, simply make your structural opening 200mm smaller than your order size. This allows the rooflight to sit securely and perform at its best.

Sizes with Upstand BY OTHERS

We recommend that your upstand is 75mm–100mm wide, so your structural opening will need to be adjusted accordingly. Please note, it is your responsibility to ensure the upstand complies with current building regulations.
